Botulinum Toxin
Botulinum toxin (often known by brand names like Botox®) is a purified protein used to temporarily relax targeted facial muscles. When injected in small, precise amounts, it softens the muscle movements that cause expression lines (like frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet) helping skin appear smoother and more refreshed.
It's one of the most researched and widely used cosmetic treatments worldwide, with decades of safety data behind it. Results are temporary (differs from person to person), gradual, and designed to look natural - you'll still be able to move your face and show expression, just without the deeper lines forming.
The treatment itself is quick, involves minimal discomfort, and requires no downtime, making it easy to fit into a normal day.
Xeomin $15 p/u
Xeomin® is a purified botulinum toxin type A, free from accessory proteins. It works by temporarily relaxing targeted facial muscles, softening the fine lines and wrinkles caused by repeated expression — think frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet. Results develop gradually over 3–7 days and typically last three to four months.
Benefits: Softened expression lines, a refreshed and rested appearance, preventative slowing of line formation with regular treatment.
Best for: Clients wanting a natural, subtle reduction in dynamic wrinkles, or those receiving regular treatments who prefer a "naked" formulation.

Frequently asked Questions
-
Treatment starts with a consultation to assess your facial muscles, discuss your goals, and confirm you're suitable for treatment. The area is cleansed, and using a very fine needle, small amounts of the toxin are injected into specific facial muscles - the exact points are chosen based on your individual anatomy and expression patterns. The whole procedure typically takes 10-15 minutes.
Most clients describe the sensation as a quick pinch or scratch rather than pain. Because the needles used are so fine, discomfort is minimal and brief - often over before you've had time to register it. No numbing cream is usually needed, though it can be requested if you're sensitive to needles.
Afterwards, you can return to normal activities straight away. You may notice small red bumps at the injection sites, but these typically settle within 30-60 minutes.

Results typically begin to appear within 3–7 days, with full effect visible by around two weeks.
Most clients see results lasting three to four months, though this varies based on individual muscle activity and treatment history. -
Botulinum toxin isn't suitable for everyone. It's generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and caution is needed for clients with certain neuromuscular conditions (such as myasthenia gravis), active skin infections at the injection site, or known allergies to the product's ingredients. Some medications can also interact with treatment. A full health history and consultation is completed before every treatment to confirm you're a suitable candidate. -
While generally considered safe, Botulinum Toxin carries potential risks, including but not limited to:
Common: Localized bruising, swelling, redness, or tenderness at the injection site. Mild headache following treatment.
Uncommon: Asymmetry of facial expressions, drooping of the eyelid or eyebrow (ptosis), or "Spock" brow. These are usually temporary and resolve as the toxin wears off.
Rare: Double vision, dry eyes, or allergic reaction.
Very Rare (Systemic): Difficulty swallowing, speaking, or breathing. If these occur, seek immediate medical attention.
